Abbott competition winners announced
Congratulations to Pip Bricher and Nicholas Johnson

Readers may remember that, way back in February, we held a competition to predict Tony Abbott’s final day in office. We’d now like to congratulate the winners, Nicholas Johnson and Pip Bricher, who both correctly forecast that Tony Abbott’s last day as prime minister would be 14 September 2015, and that his successor would be Malcolm Turnbull. The cheques are in the mail.

If you didn’t win, there’s no need to despair: we have opened up a new competition for psephological prognostication. Enter here.
