As a guide, articles intended for ‘The Nation Reviewed’ should run 800–1000 words, essays 2000–4000 words and pieces for ‘Arts & Letters’ 1000–2500 words.

We do our best to reply to all submissions within 2–3 weeks, but time and volume may prevent us from providing individual feedback.
