This illustrated lecture by Alasdair McGregor on the Griffin's architectural partnership launches the new biography he has authored entitled Grand Obsessions: The Life and Work of Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin. McGregor concentrates on the Australian period of their lives and the invariably difficult circumstances they endured to produce some of their finest work. The venue for this lecture is the acclaimed Capitol Theatre, designed by the Griffins in 1924.
