In this Melbourne Writers session billed 'Nothing But the Man', Paul Keating delivers a substantial and timely contribution on the topic of global strategic relations. Putting forward the view that the West wasted crucial opportunities afforded by its position of wealth and power over the past two decades, Keating enumerates the critical challenges facing the world today - environmental, strategic, political and economic - and suggests means of moving forward. His speech is followed by questions from the audience.
