Two of Australia's leading public intellectuals, Robert Manne and Tim Flannery, engage in a compelling discussion about climate change. 

Flannery, author of the recent Quarterly Essay, Now or Never: A Sustainable Future for Australia?, speaks of the latest climate projections and the accelerating rate of change in the earth's atmosphere and oceans. While Flannery contends we are approaching the 'point of no return', he believes there is hope that mankind can do what is necessary to avoid the worst effects of climate change.
