1. Unlike other polls, the Monthly Poll does not ask who you intend to vote for, instead, it asks you to forecast the mood of the electorate.

2. The average results will be made available to the public.

3. If you win and already have a subscription, the prize will commence when your current subscription runs out. It can also be allocated as a gift subscription.

4. Entrants join the friends of the Monthly to receive e-newsletters, giveaways and exclusive invitations to enter future political contests. They may unsubscribe at anytime. Email addresses that already exist on our database will not be duplicated.

5. Only one submission per person will be used to calculate the result and to go into the prize draw.

6. If there are multiple submissions from a person with the same name or the same email address, only the first submission will be valid.

7. An incomplete submission may be deemed ineligible by the publisher.

8. If there are multiple correct respondents, the earliest of them will be considered the winner.

9. Entry is only open to permanent Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Staff, contributors and contractors of the publisher may enter but will be ineligible to claim a reward.

10. This is a game of skill based on the psephological skill.

11. Any prize will only be delivered to an Australian street address.

12. Instructions on how to enter, prize details and other information contained within promotional communications form part of these terms and conditions.
