Regarding Peter Conrad’s article on Nick Cave (‘The Good Son’, August): I was curious to see your inclusion of a photograph captioned “Soundsuits, sculptures by Nick Cave in New York, 2009.” I may be mistaken, but I believe the sculptures in question are not by the moustachioed Nick Cave gracing the cover of your magazine, but rather by another artist of the same name.

The Monthly wrongly attributed the sculptures of artist Nick Cave (born Central Missouri, USA) to musician Nick Cave (born Melbourne, Australia). We contacted both men to offer our apologies and took consolation in learning that the Australian Cave is a fan of his US namesake’s work. – Ed
