He outlines what these shocks were, what were the resulting flow-on effects from each, and how conventional economic models explain the global adjustment and the implications of alternative policy responses. Warwick McKibbin is a Professor of economics at the Australian National University, Professorial Fellow of the Lowy Institute and a non-Resident Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution in Washington DC where he co-directs the Climate Change program.
