In this Media140 conference session, some of the nation's leading thinkers on journalism discuss issues arising from new social media platforms. In particular they apply themselves to the question of ethics and professionalism in relation to Twitter and Facebook and using content first reported elsewhere on the internet. The panel comprises Leigh Sales (ABC's Lateline), Catharine Lumby (UNSW), Chris Warren (MEAA), John Bergin (Sky News) and Kate Crawford (UNSW), and is chaired by Julie Posetti.
