Sam Vincent’s article on David Pocock (April) was very interesting, but it did not mention the Australian rugby players who took a stand on apartheid. After playing against the Springboks in South Africa in 1969, Tony Abrahams, James Roxburgh, Paul Darveniza, Barry McDonald, Terry Forman and Bruce Taafe saw for themselves how appallingly black people were being treated.
